There are many ways to explain the idea and science behind the two most talked about areas of a singer’s voice (or any voice!): chest and head. I like to keep things simple, use visualizations and demonstrations so that each student can imagine and then hear what is happening. Ultimately, with practice, they will then feel the difference internally. Here I demonstrate and explain the uses of head and chest voice in simple terms.
